Aphasia Center of Tucson
Volunteer Opportunities

Are you a patient and enthusiastic communicator?

Do you have an interest in helping others maximize their quality of life?

Have you demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, dependability, creativity, and a capacity to assume and delegate responsibilities in your previous life experiences?

Do you have adequate speech, hearing, and vision to work with individuals with communication disorders?

If you answered YES to these questions, we have a very special place for you to put your talents to tremendous use! Consider volunteering with us at the Aphasia Center of Tucson (ACT).

Aphasia is an impairment in the ability to communicate (talk, understand, read, or write) that results from stroke or other damage to the language areas of the brain. The Aphasia Center of Tucson provides stimulating, communication-rich activities for individuals who have aphasia to help them live full and meaningful lives. ACT is currently seeking volunteers to assist in the daily activities of the program.
